Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Germany for the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation.
500th Anniversary Reformation Tour of Germany
July 13-25, 2017
You are invited to join Pastor John & Meg Sattler, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, Indiana, for one of most enriching experiences you could have in the land of the Lutheran Reformation.
Experience the culture and the history of Germany today while also going back in time to the very beginnings of the Lutheran Reformation as Martin Luther ignited the fire that restored the church to its foundation in the words of Scripture. It all started in October 1517 and you will be there 500 years later to celebrate one of the most significant events in all human history.
Tour Leaders, Pastor John & Meg Sattler
The Sattlers are experienced tour hosts who have led various tours around the world and will make this experience relevant and enriching as you grow in your understanding of the heritage that is ours through the work of Martin Luther and the Reformers of the 16th century.
An initial gathering of those who are interested will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room at Holy Cross (8115 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis). It’s just information and you will not be committing yourself to anything by attending.
There will be more gatherings in the months to come to keep you informed and to help prepare you for your life-changing experience.
Please check the website regularly at www.hclc.info/Germany
The dates are set for July 13-25, 2017, and the itinerary is set. We will be experiencing contemporary German culture in Berlin & Munich, as well as the historical Lutheran Reformation sites including Wittenberg, Wartburg Castle, & Luther’s birth place.
