From your doors to our book.
Valparaiso University is an independent Lutheran university where we dialogue across difference on a daily basis, and we celebrate when we discover common ground. This website is one of those common ground places, where those who represent all the church traditions in North America, Lutherans and ecumenical colleagues. We can share their ideas and resources for remembering the Reformation in 2017. We invite your participation in this book project as a witness to the legacy of the Reformation among congregations, programs, ministries, institutes, hospitals, social service agencies, colleges, universities, and seminaries.
Just as Luther posted his best ideas for discussion, so this website will link participants from now until 2018. We hope that this project can be a mechanism for Lutherans and ecumenical churches in North America to reach out to each other and share the our events and places.
This life therefore is not righteousness but growth in righteousness not health but healing not being but becoming not rest but exercise. We are not yet what we shall be but we are growing toward it, the process is not yet finished but it is going on, this is not the end but it is the road. All does not yet gleam in glory but all is being purified.
